Cotton yarn prices in north India have declined by ₹1-3 per kg in Ludhiana and Delhi due to low demand and selling pressure ahead of Diwali.
Traders are focusing on clearing stocks to improve cash flow.
Despite this dip, demand is expected to rise post-Diwali, especially for summer garments, though price increases may face resistance due to ongoing market challenges.
