We share California’s grief over the devastating losses caused by the ongoing wildfires.
The LA County Arts & Culture site is an excellent central repository for recovery and resource information for artists and arts organizations and FEMA.gov is one of the best resources for comprehensive information and resources.
We encourage the public to contribute to organizations providing aid to those affected and supporting recovery efforts. As with every disaster, help will be needed for immediate relief, for the rebuilding that will come next, and for the long-term planning and recovery. Lend your support to impact arts organizations by considering contributing to the following funds:
For arts and culture individuals and organizations affected:
- Entertainment Community Fund – this includes links to multiple other funds
- Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+) for craft artists
- MusicCares for music professionals
- The Adolph & Esther Gottlieb Emergency Grant for painters, printmakers and sculptors
- Rauschenberg Medical Emergency Grants for artists creating in visual arts, film/video/electronic/digital arts, and choreography
- NIVF Emergency Relief Fund for independent venues
