India’s Agilitas names Ajay Kumar Pandey as director of manufacturing

Indian sportswear company Agilitas Sportswear has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of Ajay Kumar Pandey as director – quality, production, technical & manufacturing excellence. In this strategic role, Pandey will lead production planning, quality, technical operations, innovation, and order management.

A veteran with over 25 years of experience, Pandey is known for his transformational leadership in sourcing, manufacturing, quality, and business excellence. He is a strong advocate of first-principles thinking and is recognised for his ability to make things happen on a global scale, the company said.

Agilitas Sportswear has appointed Ajay Kumar Pandey as director – quality, production, technical & manufacturing excellence.
With over 25 years of experience, including a key leadership role at Puma, Pandey is known for driving global quality, innovation, and manufacturing excellence.
He will lead production, technical operations, and order management.

Before joining Agilitas, Pandey played a pivotal role at Puma, where he successfully elevated global product quality, streamlined efficiency with supplier partners, and built high-performance teams with strong technical capabilities.

Pandey brings deep expertise in manufacturing innovation, supplier quality management, process improvement, TQM, Lean Six Sigma, and agile project management. Passionate about quality, product integrity, and customer satisfaction, he is also committed to driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of innovation and learning.

Founded in 2023, Agilitas is an Indian sportswear company focused on vertical integration, with in-house manufacturing, research and development centres, and product design labs. It produces sportswear across various categories.

Agilitas Group is the parent company of Mochiko Shoes, a major sports footwear manufacturer in India, and holds the long-term licence for the Lotto brand in India, South Asia, and Australia.
