AAJ KA PANCHANG, JULY 18, 2024: Dwadashi and Trayodashi Tithi of the Shukla Paksha will be observed on July 18, according to Drik Panchang. The Shukla Paksha Ekadashi in the month of Ashadha is also known as Devshayani Ekadashi. Lord Vishnu falls asleep on this day and wakes up four months later on Prabodhini Ekadashi. Devshayani Ekadashi happens right after the Jagannath Rathyatra. Before beginning their daily rituals, people should carefully examine the tithi and auspicious or inauspicious hours. This information can provide direction and assist mitigate potential problems throughout the day.

SUNRISE, SUNSET, MOONRISE, AND MOONSET ON JULY 18

On July 18, sunrise is expected at approximately 5:35 AM, followed by sunset around 7:20 PM. Additionally, the moonrise is scheduled for 4:48 PM while the moon will set around 2:57 AM on July 19.

TITHI, NAKSHATRA, AND RASHI DETAILS FOR JULY 18

The Dwadashi Tithi is scheduled to persist until 8:44 PM on July 18, following which the Trayodashi Tithi will take its place. Meanwhile, the Jyestha Nakshatra is projected to extend until 3:25 AM on July 18 after which the Mula Nakshatra will take its place. The Nishita Muhurta is from 12:07 AM to 12:48 AM on July 19 and the Amrit Kalam Muhurat between 6:33 PM and 8:09 PM.

ASHUBH MUHURAT FOR JULY 18

The ashubh muhurat or inauspicious timings for the day are as follows: Rahu Kalam Muhurat is projected to occur from 2:10 PM to 3:53 PM, followed by the Yamaganda Muhurat from 5:35 AM to 7:18 AM, and the Gulikai Kalam Muhurat from 9:01 AM to 10:44 PM. The Banna Muhurat will occur in Mrityu until 1:48 PM and then shift to the Agni for the entire night.
