MUMBAI:

Jasmin Bhasin, a prominent Indian television actress and contestant from season 14 of the reality show ‘Bigg Boss,’ has suffered significant eye damage due to contact lenses.

Speaking to Indian media, Bhasin recounted that she had worn contact lenses before leaving for an event in New Delhi. Shortly after, she began experiencing pain in her eyes.

Despite the discomfort, Bhasin decided to attend the event, but the pain intensified to the point where she could not see anything.

“I attended the event despite the pain, but it became so severe that I couldn’t see,” she said.

Bhasin consulted an eye surgeon, who informed her that her corneas had been severely damaged by the contact lenses. “The doctor told me that my corneas were badly damaged due to the contact lenses,” she explained.

Doctors have now bandaged her eyes, and it will take 4 to 5 days for her vision to recover. Bhasin emphasized the importance of taking good care of her eyes during this period.

“It’s not easy because I can’t see, and the pain makes it difficult to sleep,” she added.

Jasmin Bhasin is a talented Indian actress and model who has made a name for herself in both Hindi television and Punjabi cinema.

Born in Kota, Rajasthan, she pursued a degree in hospitality management before entering the entertainment industry. Bhasin began her career in modelling and made her acting debut in the 2011 Tamil film “Vaanam”.
