Princess Kate has released a stunning video of tennis legends to celebrate the ladies champions as Barbora Krejčíková defeated Jasmine Paolini to win first Wimbledon title on Saturday.

Kate Middleton has shared a post on her and Prince William’s official Instagram, paying tribute to the Champions of Wimbledon.

The message, shared by The Prince and Princess of Wales social media accounts, reads: “Celebrating the Ladies Champions of @Wimbledon over the years today.

“The Championships are like no other and these legends of the game show exactly what it means to be a champion here.”

Czech Republic’s Barbora Krejcikova celebrated her victory by blowing a kiss as she defeated Italy’s Jasmine Paolini during their women’s singles final tennis match on the thirteenth day of the 2024 Wimbledon Championships at The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon on July 13, 2024.

Both players were competing for their first Wimbledon title, but in the end it was Krejčíková who took the victory, 6-2, 2-6, 6-4.

The mother-of-three did not attend the game as she continued her cancer treatment, however her doctors have given him green light to attend the Sunday’s game.

Princess Kate will be attending men’s singles final between Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic at Wimbledon on July 14, Kensington Palace has confirmed.

Former Olympian Kriss Akabusi has reacted to kate Middleton’s decision with his stunning remarks, saying: “Princess Kate’s decision to attend Wimbledon will go some way to ‘putting fears to rest’.

Some royal fans reacted to Kate’s decision of not attending the Ladies game, with one writing: “Would it not have been better, if Catherine went to ladies final, as the men’s final can go on for hours.”

Another wrote: “Shocking support for womans sports. No attendance for womans world cup final and now no support for womans tennis final from either. We definitely know now who they prefer to watch. Kate champions for woman, yeah right.”
