Americans for the Arts stands with the communities in the Southeastern United States affected by Hurricane Helene and approaching Hurricane Milton. We understand that the path to recovery—both for individuals and neighborhoods—requires time, strength, and resilience. In the aftermath of this devastation, we must come together as a united community to uplift spirits and bolster recovery efforts. We urge everyone to join us in supporting those impacted by this storm.

Here is what you can do to help:

  • Lend your support to impact arts organizations by considering contributing to the following funds:

If you are in an affected county, please email Mital Lyons-Warren, at [email protected], to let us know how you are doing and if you have other information  to share. Americans for the Arts has national resources on disaster preparedness and response. If you are looking for relief or information, please visit FEMA.gov.

With deep support,

Jamie Bennett and Suzy Delvalle
Interim Co-CEOs, Americans for the Arts
